Peer review and article types
The Journal of The British Blockchain Association describes double-blind review of research articles by two to three independent external reviewers. Interviews and opinion articles are not peer-reviewed; they are assessed for suitability by the handling editor. Readers should check the article type when interpreting a publication.
Editorial responsibilities
JBBA’s published policies set out responsibilities for authors, reviewers and editors, including originality, attribution and conflicts of interest. Editorial assessment and acceptance are handled through the journal’s editorial process. Refer to the journal’s current policies and editorial board for authoritative details.
Open access and reuse
JBBA provides immediate open access and describes publication under Creative Commons Attribution licensing, with authors retaining copyright. Check the licence and credit requirements on the individual article before reusing its text, figures or other material.
Corrections and research concerns
The journal’s policies describe corrections, ethical oversight and the use of COPE guidance when considering suspected misconduct. For a concern about a paper, provide its title or DOI, the relevant passage and supporting evidence to editorial@thejbba.com. Research concerns should be addressed through the journal rather than treated as ordinary website corrections.
