UK NATIONAL BLOCKCHAIN ROADMAP

A practical path to UK leadership.

The British Blockchain Association's National Blockchain Roadmap sets out an evidence-led vision for strengthening the UK's blockchain ecosystem through policy, research, skills, standards, infrastructure and responsible adoption.

VISION 2030

From fragmented activity to national capability.

The Roadmap was developed to provide a coherent long-term framework for the UK's blockchain economy. It looks beyond individual use cases and asks what institutional, regulatory, research and skills infrastructure the country needs to compete effectively.

Its central argument is that national leadership depends on coordinated capability, not isolated innovation.

Societal impact & specialist steering groups

The UK National Blockchain Roadmap VISION 2030 connects blockchain’s societal impact with specialist areas spanning policy, research, public services, industry and emerging technologies.

FROM ROADMAP TO ACTION

A living agenda, not a static document.

The Roadmap should evolve as technology, markets and regulation develop. BBA uses parliamentary discussions, consultation responses, research and industry engagement to keep the agenda connected to current evidence and national priorities.
