Accessibility
The British Blockchain Association wants its digital information to be usable by as many people as possible.
Our commitment
We are working towards a website that is clear, responsive and compatible with a broad range of devices and assistive technologies. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing part of design, publishing and maintenance rather than a one-off exercise.
Using the website
The site is designed to support keyboard navigation, browser zoom, readable colour contrast, meaningful page structure, alternative text for informative images and responsive layouts across desktop, tablet and mobile.
Documents and third-party content
Some historical documents, externally hosted publications, embedded media or third-party services may not meet the same accessibility standard as newly created BBA web content. We will aim to provide a reasonable alternative where practicable.
Known issues and testing
The new BBA website is still being developed and reviewed. A formal accessibility assessment should be completed before final production launch, and any material issues identified should be recorded here with a plan for remediation.

If you experience an accessibility barrier or need information in another format, please contact the BBA through our Contact page and describe the page or material concerned. We will aim to respond constructively and provide an appropriate alternative where reasonably possible.
Standards
Our design objective is to align the website with recognised web accessibility good practice, including WCAG principles of perceivable, operable, understandable and robust content.
