John Wolpert elected to the Fellowship of the British Blockchain Association
Mr John Wolpert has been elected to the Fellowship of The British Blockchain Association.
Mr Wolpert is a co-founder of Baseline Protocol, co-founder of IBM’s global blockchain, the open source Hyperledger Fabric project, and lead at ConsenSys’ product and venture lab.
Dr. Mureed Hussain, Secretary of The British Blockchain Association, said:
‘Between June and September 2020, we received a total of 79 nominations of which 26 were self-nominations. To be eligible for the award of Fellowship, candidate must have fulfilled at least 8 out of the 11 essential eligibility criteria. The award of Fellowship is a recognition of exceptional achievement, excellence, leadership, advancing standards and best practice in the field of Distributed Ledger Technologies’.
Dr. Naseem Naqvi, President of The British Blockchain Association, said:
‘Our Fellows have made a substantial contribution to the field of Blockchain. They are an asset, not just to the BBA but to the rest of the world’.
The new Fellows will be inducted on March 15, 2021 at the Blockchain International Scientific Conference, ISC2021.
BBA was established in 2017 and now has Fellows based in the USA, India, Australia, Singapore, France, UK, Italy and The Netherlands.
